I cooked myself 3 slices of bacon for breakfast, and had 3 (yowzers!) cups of coffee. Then I stood in the backyard in my nightgown, watering all my flower beds with the hose.
Then I went into the garage (still in my nightgown) and ironed for an hour or so. Now that I have the amazing wonder-iron, I love to iron. I iron my jeans, Dave's cargo pants, napkins and tablecloths, basically anything I can get my hands on. It was glorious.
Then I decided to buff my entire body with sugar scrub and apply Jergen's Summer Glow moisturizer to my very pale self. I like this stuff because it's very gradual and you don't have to be that careful with it, because it's hard to create orange streaks.
Then, finally, sometime after noon, I put on clothes. In a bit, Dave and I are taking the Harley out to Cooks Corner (a biker hangout) for lunch.

Sounds better than working for 8 hours, even if Richard and I do get paid time and half for doing so!
I think it sounds great!
Sounds like our plans for today. Wonderful, isn't it?
Happy Mem. Day Verbie
