Do you mean the blue packets on the plate in the bottom pic? Those are saltines.
The first day we got there, we took a taxi to the Mega Mart and bought all kinds of breakfast items (we love the Mexican breads), coffee, milk, juice, snack foods, etc., so we could eat breakfasts in the room. All suites at Pueblo Bonito have a full kitchen.
After that, we tended to hang out at the incredibly gorgeous pools all day. We picked a spot near the swim-up bar, and did a lot of "swimming up!" Plus, there's an outdoor kitchen near the pool bar that serves really good queasadillas, nachos, ceviche, fish tacos, etc., so we just had them bring us lunch by the pool. Then in the late afternoons, we'd head back to the suite, change, and go into town for dinner.
We spent one day in town shopping and another day we went to little island that has a great swimming beach, but mostly, we just stuck to the resort.
Mazatlan is charming and isn't especially popular with Americans, so you mostly see Mexican families vacationing there (especially in the summer when it's hot.) We like that about it. If I want to see the Ugly American, all I have to do is go out my door, ya know?

You have a gorgeous family. Glad you had such a good time.
Oh, do tell us lots about your vacay! I won't be going anywhere any time soon on a true vacation, so I need to live through yours and everyone else's.
Nice pics! What are in the little packages by your husband?
I'm heading to Mexico in October. Hope it'll be fun.
