Many things come to mind when I see the word, "Hallelujah". Can you perhaps narrow this down for me? Do you mean All Creatures of our God and King, or The Hallelujah Chorus, or Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, or Deep Purple's Hallelujah? The list on Google goes on and on!

This is tantamount to saying, I like that song that starts with "the"!

I was referring to Leonard Cohen's. (And the refrain for All Creatures is actually Alleluia. Point taken, though.)

And what are some songs that YOU like?

My favorite song is probably Lily's Eyes from the broadway musical The Secret Garden.

I love many, many Broadway musical songs, Jenny! I've been hearing a lot of Secret Garden songs on XM's broadway channel.

Any slow song by Heart, and most of their fast ones.

La Bamba (Now there's a stretch!)

Verb, remember in one of the Prey books, when Weather gave Lucas an iPod and a 100 song gift certificate and he spent the whole book trying to make a list of the top 100 songs, and he couldn't do it? Even when he decided NOT to include any Beatles songs...

Bet I could list 500 songs I love, or even more. If I got into classical stuff and hymns, it might be a thousand!

i've had the pleasure to work with a young man who is a savant and his talent is singing, well sometimes it's annoying. after 8 hours of the donky kong theme, it's hard to find grace in it. however, last year our lifeskills kids (the mentally retarded children) put on the musical "wizard of oz" for the rest of the school, and this boy sang 'somewhere over the rainbow' it was so lovely everyone cried.

All last year I had Mad World on a CD and would play it at school during any quiet times I had... That song saved my sanity more than once :)

There are many many songs that I love, but I can never think of them when pressed to do so or I only know some of the lyrics and not the names of the dang things or who sings them.

That's the great thing about having a mind full of songs, Lori. They tend to pop out when you need them.
